Set this 5-inch black polypropylene rigid on a fixed corner of a stock cart in a wet or wash-down area that clears thresholds.

The hard polypropylene wheel wipes clean and shrugs off moisture and cleaning chemicals, a fit for the 400 Series on dollies and stock carts that see spills. At 5 inches it clears thresholds and seams that a smaller wheel catches, and as a rigid caster it tracks straight rather than swiveling to keep the cart steady on its fixed corners. It is light and economical, with the trade that a hard wheel transmits bumps, runs louder than rubber, and black poly can mark a light floor. It runs on a plain bearing, bolts on a 2-15/16 by 4-1/8-inch zinc top plate, and holds from -20 to 180°F.
