About This Caster - 527-2R
Put this 2-inch rubber rigid under a light shop cart or fixture that needs to roll quietly and sit low.
The black rubber tread cushions the load and runs quietly over a hard floor, soaking up small bumps that a hard wheel would rattle across. It is an economy 100 Series caster on a plain bearing, so it suits light loads and the occasional push rather than constant production traffic. At 2 inches it keeps the deck low, and the rigid frame tracks straight as a fixed corner. Black rubber can leave marks on a light floor, so keep it to concrete or shop areas where that does not matter. It mounts on a small zinc-plated top plate.
