About This Caster - 460S-4RB
Choose this 4-inch Faultless 400 Series swivel with a Rollock brake when a dolly or hotel truck has to steer freely and then stay put while it is loaded.
The Rollock brake adds the hold: a pedal presses a shoe against the polypropylene tread to stop the wheel from rolling, so a parked dolly holds its spot while the swivel still turns for repositioning. Until then the swivel head steers through tight aisles with a 3.4375-inch radius to allow. The hard 4-inch polypropylene wheel resists chemicals and moisture and wipes clean, though it can mark a soft floor, and a plain bearing keeps it simple on a zinc-plated frame for general indoor service. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
