About This Caster - 127-2SB
Choose this 2-inch 100 Series swivel for a light cart that rolls quiet and has to stop on a slight grade.
The tread lock brake is a side foot lever that presses a shoe onto the rubber tread to stop the wheel rolling while the swivel still turns, enough to hold a light parked cart on a slope. The wheel is a soft black rubber that cushions the warehouse floor and runs quiet, and at 2 inches it keeps the deck low. The Faultless 100 Series bracket is zinc-plated pressed steel with a four-bolt top plate and a plain bearing, holding from -45 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- 2-inch light carts that roll quiet and hold on a slight grade
- Tread-lock side brake stopping a soft rubber wheel
- Compact plain-bearing swivel that parks on a slope
If the corner only needs to roll, the plain 127-2R drops the brake.
