About This Caster - D4.08108.839 SS WB29
Reach for this 8-inch Defender D4 rigid when a budget cart carries heavier loads, clears the biggest obstacles, and is pushed slowly.
The roller bearing carries the most weight of the three bearings at a slow pace, and the tallest 8-inch wheel bridges the widest cracks and clears big obstacles with the least effort. The economical polyolefin tread resists chemicals and moisture without absorbing water and wipes clean, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Polyolefin is a value tread that tops out below a poly-on-core wheel and, being hard, can mark a soft floor. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 180°F, the cost-minded choice when loads run heavier but slow on bad floors.
