About This Caster - D4.06108.555 COND SS
Choose this 6-inch Defender D4 rigid when a cart must drain static in an ESD-sensitive or flammable area and roll easily over thresholds.
The conductive round-tread Performa wheel carries static charge from the cart through the caster to ground rather than letting it build up, protecting electronics and reducing spark risk around solvents or dust. Its round profile keeps rolling resistance low and the soft rubber rolls quietly, though the conductive compound can mark a light surface. The taller 6-inch wheel clears door tracks and joints easily, and the pedestal precision ball bearing keeps it rolling smoothly, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
