About This Caster - D4.05109.551 SS
Use this 5-inch Defender D4 swivel for a quiet cart that steers easily and rolls with the least effort, grease-free.
The round-tread Performa rubber wheel is Colson's soft, non-marking institutional tread, its rounded profile swiveling with little effort and keeping rolling resistance low on finished floors. The swivel head steers the cart, with a 4.125-inch swivel radius to allow, and the Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof. At 5 inches it eases over thresholds better than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Soft rubber keeps the load class modest, so this is the quiet, easy-steering, low-upkeep choice. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
