About This Caster - D4.04109.929 EG SS WB29
Put this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel on the steering corners of a wash-down cart that has to maneuver in tight processing space and survive a daily hose-down without the swivel seizing up with rust.
The stainless construction is what lasts: water and cleaning chemicals that pit and freeze a plated swivel run off the Defender D4, so it keeps steering smoothly season after season. The wheel is Colson HI-TECH polyurethane on a polyolefin core, non-marking and corrosion-proof, and the roller bearing carries a loaded processing cart under the swivel.
Ideal applications
- Food-processing and prep carts steered in wash-down zones, tiled floor
- Pharmaceutical and cleanroom rigs hosed between runs, sealed floor
- Wet-area transport that has to maneuver and resist corrosion, multi-shift
