Based on its part code this caster pairs a heavy-duty glass-filled nylon wheel with a precision ball bearing and a total lock brake. The glass-filled nylon tread takes heavy point loads and resists chemicals and moisture without absorbing water, the precision ball bearing rolls smoothly when released, and the total lock brake holds both the wheel and the swivel so the cart will neither roll nor spin once set. The stainless steel frame suits corrosive, sprayed-down bays. Glass-filled nylon is hard with no cushioning and can mark a soft floor.
