About This Caster - D4.04109.335 SS
Put this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel on a cart that steers through an oily or warm area and rolls often at a fair clip.
The phenolic wheel is a hard resin tread that carries high load and resists oils, solvents, and heat to 250°F, and the pedestal precision ball bearing keeps the wheel and swivel turning smoothly on faster, frequent trips. The swivel head steers the cart, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to allow, on a stainless steel frame for corrosive bays. Phenolic is rigid, so it rolls loud, gives no cushioning, can chip under impact, and can mark a soft floor. This is the economical heat-and-oil steering caster for routes that need smooth rolling. It serves from -45 to 250°F.
