About This Caster - D4.05108.531 WN SS
Choose this 5-inch Defender D4 rigid when a sanitary cart gets washed often and you want a hard wheel that ignores moisture with no bearing to maintain.
The white nylon wheel is dense and chemical resistant, will not absorb water or swell, and wipes clean for sanitary areas, while the Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof for sprayed-down service. At 5 inches it clears thresholds more easily than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for wet bays. Nylon leaves no color mark, but it is a hard wheel with no give that can dent or scratch a soft finished floor. The Delrin bearing keeps the working load light. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
