About This Wheel - D4.04108.835 EN SS
Choose this 4-inch Defender D4 rigid when a wash-down cart needs a tougher wheel than soft rubber but still wants a cushioned, non-marking ride.
The wheel is Endura solid elastomer, a tough tread that cushions the ride and eases over debris and rough floors better than a hard plastic wheel, while staying non-marking on finished surfaces and never flat-spotting because it is solid through and through. It takes heat and chemicals in stride, holding from -45 to 250°F, and the stainless steel frame handles corrosive, sprayed-down bays. The pedestal precision ball bearing keeps it rolling smoothly on faster, frequent trips and tow lines. This sits between the quiet soft rubber and the hard plastic options in the line: more durable than rubber, easier on the ride and the floor than nylon or phenolic. Rigid means it tracks straight.
