About This Caster - D4.04108.539 WN SS WB29
Pick this 4-inch Defender D4 rigid when a wash-down cart carries real weight and is pushed slowly down the line.
The roller bearing handles the heaviest loads in this nylon group, as long as travel stays slow and steady, which fits a packed sanitary cart or a loaded transfer rack. It runs the hard white nylon wheel, chemical and moisture resistant, stable when wet, and easy to clean, on a stainless steel frame that holds up in corrosive, sprayed-down bays. The rigid mount keeps the load tracking straight at the rear of the cart. Nylon leaves no color mark, but the wheel is hard with no cushioning and can scratch a soft floor, and it works from -20 to 180°F rather than the hi-temp range. This is the heavy, low-speed nylon caster for clean, wet environments.
