About This Caster - D4.04109.535 WN SS
Use this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel on the front of a wash-down cart that has to turn and weave through a sanitary workspace.
The swivel head lets the operator steer the cart around equipment and into tight aisles, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to plan for at the corners. It carries the same hard white nylon wheel, chemical and moisture resistant, easy to clean, and unaffected by the water it rolls through, mounted on a stainless steel frame for corrosion service. The pedestal precision ball bearing keeps both the wheel and swivel turning smoothly at speed. Nylon leaves no color mark, but its hard tread gives no cushioning and can scratch a soft floor, and it runs from -20 to 180°F rather than the hi-temp range. This is the steering caster for damp, chemical, frequently moved carts.
