The ball bearing carries a heavier load and rolls it with less push than a Delrin bore, so a loaded wash cart starts with less effort, polyolefin resists water and mild chemicals where rubber would swell, the plate bolts to a flat frame, and the tall 5-inch wheel clears the biggest thresholds. It is a hard economical wheel, so it rolls freely but cushions less than rubber. Confirm your bolt pattern matches the 3-5/8 by 2-1/2 inch plate before you order.
