About This Caster - 2.05250.52 HT
Choose this 5-inch glass-filled nylon swivel with the plain bearing and modular hollow-rivet stem for an oven rack built on a socket frame, the tall Brown wheel rated to roughly 480 degrees and the plain bore that takes the temperature a packed bearing could not.
Glass-filled nylon holds its shape and capacity at heat that would soften a rubber or polyurethane tread, so the wheel rolls through ovens and heat tunnels, the plain bore carries the heat where a ball or Delrin bearing would fail, the modular stem presses into a socket for a fast mount, and the tall 5-inch wheel clears the biggest thresholds. The hard wheel rolls easy but passes more shock. Confirm your socket takes the 1/2-inch hollow-rivet stem and check your temperature before you order. It is the tall high-heat glass-filled nylon swivel for a socket-frame oven rack.
