About This Caster - 2.03356.52
Choose this 3-inch polyolefin swivel for a light cart in a wet or dirty spot on a budget, where a rubber wheel would rot and a steel-cored caster would rust, but the molded polyolefin shrugs both off.
The polyolefin wheel is the economy pick in the 2 Series: it is injection-molded from Colson's own compound, so it neither absorbs water nor corrodes, and it costs less than a rubber or polyurethane wheel. The Delrin plain bearing rolls maintenance-free and cannot seize in the wet, and the top plate bolts to a flat frame. The trade is a firmer, louder ride than rubber. It is the practical choice for a light utility cart in a mop room, a wash bay, or a back-of-house aisle.
