Specify this 3.5-inch conductive Performa rubber swivel with the ball bearing and top plate where a flat-framed cart must not build a static charge, the carbon-loaded tread that bleeds static down to the floor and the plate that bolts solid to the frame.
The conductive rubber gives static a path from the load through the caster to a grounded floor, so charge does not build on a cart near electronics or in a clean area, the ball bearing rolls a loaded cart easy, the swivel steers it through aisles, and the tread still rolls soft and non-marking. A conductive caster only works on a conductive, grounded floor, so confirm your floor before you order. It is the static-draining bolt-on rubber swivel for a sensitive-load flat-framed cart.
