Choose this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the ball bearing on the square 3-1/2 by 3-1/2 inch top plate for a busy frame drilled in a square bolt pattern, the quiet caster whose symmetric plate matches the mount and seats the same in any orientation.
The 3-1/2 by 3-1/2 inch square plate suits frames laid out on a square hole pattern, where a rectangular plate would not line up, and its symmetry lets the caster mount in any of four orientations. The ball bearing keeps the cart rolling through traffic, and the soft Grey Performa rubber tread runs near-silent and protects finished floors. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the quiet high-traffic caster for a square-pattern frame.
