Choose this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the fine 5/8-18 stem and ball bearing for a heavier gym-equipment cart that shakes, the quiet caster whose large fine-thread stud anchors deep and resists backing out under vibration.
A loaded equipment cart on a heavier 5/8-tapped frame that vibrates needs both the bigger diameter for a firm anchor and the fine pitch to resist loosening, and the 5/8-18 stem gives both. The ball bearing keeps the loaded cart rolling smooth through constant use, and the soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps it quiet and non-marking. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck.
