About This Caster - 2.02254.445 MTG13 BRK1
Specify this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the top lock brake and 5/8-11 stem for the parking corner of a heavier AV cart, the quiet caster whose larger stud anchors a sturdy frame and whose pedal locks the wheel still.
A loaded AV or equipment cart on a 5/8-tapped frame needs both a sturdy stud and a brake to hold it at the rack, and the 5/8-11 stem anchors the heavier frame while the top lock brake stops the wheel. The ball bearing carries the busy duty, and the soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps it quiet and non-marking. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the quiet braked corner for a heavier 5/8-tapped leg.
