About This Caster - 2.02254.445 MTG10
Choose this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the short 1/2-13 x 3/4 stem and ball bearing for a busy cart on a shallow-tapped leg, the quiet caster whose stud seats flush in a short socket and rolls smooth under constant use.
The 3/4-inch 1/2-13 stud is cut to seat fully in a short coarse-tapped boss without bottoming out, and the ball bearing suits a high-traffic cart by keeping the small wheel rolling through the constant starts and stops a plain bearing would stiffen under. The soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps the cart quiet and non-marking. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the quiet high-traffic caster for equipment with a short coarse-tapped leg.
