About This Caster - 2.02254.441 MTG13 BRK1
Specify this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the top lock brake and 5/8-11 x 1-3/4 stem for the parking corner of a heavier-leg cart, the maintenance-free caster whose larger stud bites deep and whose pedal locks the wheel still.
The 5/8-11 stud is a larger diameter and a longer 1-3/4 inch reach than the 1/2-inch studs, for a fabricated or heavier institutional leg tapped for a bigger thread, and the top lock brake stops the wheel where the cart parks. The Delrin plain bearing rolls maintenance-free for a braked corner that gets hosed or parks often, and the soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps it quiet and non-marking. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the no-grease braked corner for a heavy 5/8-tapped leg.
