About This Caster - 2.02254.441 MTG12
Choose this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the fine 1/2-20 stem for a leg tapped fine or a cart that shakes, the quiet caster whose fine-pitch thread resists backing out under vibration.
A fine 1/2-20 UNF thread has shallower, more numerous threads than a coarse 1/2-13, which grips a fine-tapped socket and resists loosening when equipment vibrates, where a coarse stud would slowly walk out. It is the right stud for a motorized or reciprocating cart and for any leg already tapped fine. The soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps the cart quiet and non-marking, and the Delrin plain bearing rolls maintenance-free. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the vibration-resistant quiet caster for a fine-tapped leg.
