Specify this 4-inch by 3-inch wide cast iron wheel for the heaviest dead weight on a low cart, where the extra-wide tread spreads a load that would overwhelm a standard 2-inch wheel.

Tread width sets how much a wheel can carry, and this max-load series runs a full 3 inches wide to put more iron under the load. On a compact 4-inch diameter, that gives a low machine skid or a die cart the highest capacity you can get at standing-deck height, where a narrow wheel would crush or stall. Solid cast iron carries the static and rolling load without deflecting, and the roller bearing moves it slowly under weight. It is heavy and loud and marks the floor, and it tops out at 180°F rather than the high-heat series.

• Low die or fixture cart under extreme dead weight, hard floor
• Compact machine skid needing maximum capacity at deck height
