About This Wheel - VSVU 160/20H7

Specify this 160mm wheel where it mounts on a driven or machine axle that has to run true, not on a caster fork, the application where an ordinary loose-tolerance bore lets the wheel wobble and chew the shaft.

The hub is bored to an H7 precision fit on a heat-treatable steel centre, so it seats on a ground axle without play and transmits drive cleanly. The tread is Blickle Extrathane polyurethane, firm and tear-resistant, and the wheel is rated down to -22°F for cold-store and freezer-line equipment where a standard wheel turns brittle. This is a machine-build wheel, sized and toleranced to be pressed onto a shaft.

Ideal applications

• Driven wheels on AGVs and powered transport units, machine axle, sealed floor
• Cold-store and freezer-line equipment rollers, sub-freezing ambient
• Custom machine bases where the wheel runs on a ground shaft, not a fork

Skip the precision-bore wheel if you just need a caster wheel on a standard axle; a stock-bore Extrathane wheel costs less where shaft fit and drive transmission are not the point.
