About This Wheel - VSTH 60/15K
Choose this 60mm wheel when the fixture runs a heavy 15mm shaft and the load is high enough that a thin axle would be the weak point.
The 15mm bore is large for a 60mm wheel, which is the point: it lets the wheel sit on a thick, stiff axle that carries the high load the Extrathane tread is built to take, rather than necking down to a thin shaft. The tread is Blickle's Extrathane polyurethane at 92 Shore A on a steel centre, firm enough to keep rolling resistance low under that weight, and the ball bearing keeps the heavy axle turning. The light-brown tread protects the floor and holds from -4 to 158°F.
Ideal applications
- 60mm fixtures running a thick 15mm load-bearing shaft
- Large bore matching the axle to the Extrathane load capacity
- Steel-centre wheel where a thin axle would be the weak point
For the largest VSTH with a wide tread and a 20mm shaft, the 80mm VSTH 82/20K carries more.
Pairs with: a 15mm axle and a heavy-duty fork or fixture sized for a 60mm wheel.
