About This Wheel - VPA 101/8K
Use this 100mm wheel where a cart is moved often and wants both the lightest roll and a wider tread under the load.
The ball bearing keeps the wheel spinning with little effort through repeated trips, where a plain bore would begin to drag, and the 32mm tread is wider than the standard 100mm wheel, so it spreads the load across more contact and tracks straighter. The solid rubber tyre at 80 Shore A on a nylon 6 centre stays quiet and protects the floor from -4 to 140°F. It takes an 8mm axle. Blickle builds the tyre non-marking in grey for finished-floor service.
Ideal applications
- All-shift carts wanting the lightest roll on a 100mm wheel
- Wider 32mm tread spreading the load and tracking straight
- Frequent steering where a ball bearing stays responsive
For occasional duty at lower cost, the narrower plain-bore VPA 100/8G drops the ball bearing.
Pairs with: an 8mm axle and a swivel or rigid fork for a 100mm wheel.
