About This Wheel - SPO 75/12G
Fit this 75mm nylon wheel under a compact tool cart or machine base that rolls on a smooth shop floor and needs a hard, low-resistance tread.
The wheel is solid high-quality nylon 6 at hardness 70 Shore D, a hard, impact-resistant material that rolls with very low resistance and shrugs off water, oils, and most chemicals. The trade is that a hard wheel does not cushion: it transmits shock, runs louder than rubber, and belongs on smooth concrete or sealed floors rather than rough or delicate surfaces. It rides on a plain bore, the simplest and most economical mount, which suits lighter duty and occasional moves. It takes a 12mm axle and holds from -13 to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 75mm plain-bore nylon wheel under a compact tool cart
- 32mm hard tread on a 12mm axle for smooth shop floors
- Chemical-resistant nylon wheel for a wet or oily work area
For a 15mm axle on the same 75mm wheel, the SPO 75/15G fits a thicker shaft.
Pairs with: a matching swivel or rigid bracket sized to the 12mm axle bore.
