About This Wheel - SPO 250/25K
Fit this 250mm nylon wheel to the heaviest cart in constant service that has to roll over obstacles with the least push effort.
The wheel is solid nylon 6 at hardness 70 Shore D, hard, impact resistant, and chemical resistant, carrying the heaviest loads here with low rolling resistance. Its ball bearing spins freely so a fully loaded cart that is moved repeatedly starts and tracks far easier than one on a plain bore, which counts most at this diameter and weight. As a hard wheel it offers no cushioning and runs best on smooth concrete, not rough or finished floors. At 250mm with a 65mm tread it clears joints and spreads load, takes a 25mm axle, and holds from -4 to 176°F.
