About This Wheel - PP 80/12G
Choose this 80mm Blickle PP wheel when a light cart needs an economical, chemical-resistant wheel for wet or corrosive areas.
The wheel is high-quality polypropylene, a lightweight plastic with high resistance to many acids, alkalis, and solvents, which makes it a low-cost choice for washdown and chemical areas where steel corrodes. It rolls with low resistance and is impact resistant, though it is hard with no cushioning, carries less than nylon, and works to a lower temperature ceiling. As a black wheel it may mark light flooring, and as a hard wheel it suits smooth floors. At 80mm it is the compact size here, running on a plain bore bushing. It holds from -4 to 140°F.
