About This Wheel - POTH 100/10KA
Pick this 100mm wheel for a cart that runs textile or retail floors on a 10mm axle, where carpet fibres would foul a bare bearing.
The synthetic thread guard wraps the axle to keep carpet thread and packing string out of the ball bearing, which is what makes it the choice for textile, retail, and warehouse-pick floors. The ball bearing keeps the loaded wheel rolling light, and the tread is Blickle's thermoplastic polyurethane at 94 Shore A on a nylon 6 centre, firm and low in rolling resistance, non-marking grey and holding from -4 to 158°F. It rides a 10mm axle.
Ideal applications
- 100mm wheels on a 10mm axle over carpet or textile floors
- Thread guard keeping fibres out of the ball bearing
- Firm non-marking poly on a frequent-pick warehouse cart
Where the floor is hard and a guard is not needed, the 15mm-bore ball POTH 100/15K is the same wheel without the guard.
