About This Wheel - PO 80/12XR
Choose this 80mm nylon wheel on a 12mm axle for a compact frame that takes shock in a dusty bay that would foul an open bearing.
A roller bearing carries more weight and shrugs off shock better than a ball bearing, and the X prefix marks the sealed variant that keeps grit off the rollers, so this small wheel holds up where dust would foul an open bearing. The hard nylon 6 at 70 Shore D carries a high load and rolls with low resistance on a smooth floor, ignoring water and chemicals. The trade is a hard ride that can damage a soft floor. This colder-rated grade holds down to -13°F up to 176°F.
