About This Wheel - PO 80/12R
Choose this 80mm nylon wheel on a 12mm axle when a compact frame takes shock and carries a high load for the size.
A roller bearing carries more weight and shrugs off shock better than a ball bearing, and the wide 12mm bore seats a heavier shaft than a small wheel usually runs, so an 80mm wheel takes a load that would overrun a lighter bearing. The hard nylon 6 at 70 Shore D rolls with low resistance on a smooth floor, ignoring water and chemicals. The trade is a hard ride that can damage a soft floor. This colder-rated grade holds down to -13°F up to 176°F.
