About This Wheel - PO 80/12G
Use this 80mm nylon wheel on a 12mm axle where a compact frame carries a high load and a plain bore is the economical pick.
A plain bore rides direct on the 12mm axle with no bearing, the economy choice for a frame repositioned rather than pushed all day, and the wide bore suits a heavier static shaft. At 80mm the hard nylon 6 at 70 Shore D carries a high load and rolls with low resistance on a smooth floor, ignoring water and chemicals. The trade is a hard ride that can damage a soft floor. This colder-rated grade holds down to -13°F up to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 80mm compact frames on a 12mm axle moved occasionally
- Plain 12mm bore economy on a high-load nylon wheel
- Chemical-proof 80mm nylon rated to -13°F on smooth concrete
For a ball bearing and lighter push on an 8mm axle, the PO 80/8KA rolls easier.
