Pick this 100mm swivel for a light-duty cart that gets wiped down or sees the occasional damp floor, where a steel-cored wheel would start to rust and the budget does not call for a premium elastic-rubber caster.

The wheel is grey thermoplastic rubber on a polypropylene centre, so there is no steel to corrode and the whole wheel stays light and non-marking on finished floors. The thermoplastic tread rolls quietly enough for occupied spaces and handles general indoor service to 140°F without the maintenance a metal-cored caster needs in a humid room.

• Light stock and supply carts in retail back-of-house, occasional damp floor
