About This Wheel - GTH 252/30K
Choose this 250mm wide-tread Blickle GTH wheel when a heavy load needs the wide 80mm tread on a larger axle.
The wheel pairs a firm Blickle Extrathane cast polyurethane tread with a rugged grey cast iron centre, sharing the 250mm diameter and 80mm face of the standard wide version. The difference is the hub: this version takes a larger bore and bearing, so it fits a heavier or larger-diameter axle where the standard-bore wheel would not. The firm tread keeps rolling resistance low and resists abrasion, the iron core carries the load without flexing, and the polyurethane is easier on the floor than bare metal. It runs on a ball bearing and holds from -4 to 158°F.
