About This Wheel - GSPO 35/8K
Fit this compact 35mm cast nylon wheel under a machine base or apparatus that has to carry a heavy load on a very small wheel.
The wheel is high-quality cast nylon, reaction-injected at hardness 80 Shore D, which makes it denser and harder than a standard nylon wheel and gives it a very high load capacity for its size. It rolls with low resistance and resists water, oils, and chemicals, but as a hard material it offers no cushioning: it transmits shock, runs louder than rubber, and belongs on smooth concrete rather than rough or delicate floors. It runs on a ball bearing, takes an 8mm axle, and holds from -4 to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 35mm cast-nylon wheel under a compact machine base
- 28mm hard tread on an 8mm axle for very high load
- Tiny high-capacity nylon wheel on smooth concrete
Step up to the 50mm version for more ground clearance on the same cast nylon.
