About This Drive Wheel - GBN 252/40H7
Choose this 250mm Blickle GBN drive wheel when a powered industrial vehicle needs a traction wheel that grips, rolls easily, and treats the floor gently.
This is a drive wheel, not a caster: it mounts on a powered shaft through a keyed hub, so it transmits drive torque from a motor or gearbox to move an automated guided vehicle, electric tug, or transfer car. The hub uses a 40 millimetre precision bore with a keyway to lock onto the shaft and carry that torque. The tread is Blickle Besthane cast polyurethane over a rugged grey cast iron centre, a combination that grips for traction, rolls with very low resistance, and is gentler on the floor than a bare metal wheel, while the iron core handles drive torque and load without flexing. At 250mm with a wide 80mm face, it carries and drives heavy loads, and it holds from -22 to 158°F.
