About This Roller - FTH 60x20/17-12K
Use this 60mm guide roller where a load has to be steered along a rail, a frame edge, or a conveyor side, the job of taking side thrust rather than carrying weight from below.
Mounted on the side of a track or fixture, the roller lets a moving load run along the guide while the Blickle Extrathane polyurethane tread absorbs the lateral knock each time the load drifts into it, instead of the metal-on-metal contact that gouges a rail. The firm Extrathane tread resists the edge wear that side-loading puts on a roller, and the narrow 20mm face fits a guide channel.
Ideal applications
- Side-guide rollers on conveyors and transfer lines, light to medium thrust
- Rail and track guides keeping a load centred as it moves
- Fixture and jig edges where a load registers against a roller, not a hard stop
Skip the guide roller if you need a wheel that carries weight from underneath; this is a lateral-thrust roller, so load-bearing positions take a wheel like the VSTH or HTH instead.
Pairs with: a 12mm stud or axle and the side-mount bracket on the rail or frame.
