Mount this compact 30mm guide roller along a light rail or machine edge to take side contact with low friction.
A guide roller is not a load-bearing caster: it spins against a rail, guard, or passing cart to absorb sideways contact and steer it along, replacing a fixed bumper that would scrape and wear. The nylon 6 tread is hard at hardness 70 Shore D, with very low rolling resistance and high abrasion resistance, so it turns freely on its ball bearing and stands up to repeated rubbing. At 30mm across an 8mm face it is the smallest here, for light rails and tight spots, mounting on a stud through its 6mm bore. It holds from -4 to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 30mm nylon guide roller taking side contact on a light rail
- 8mm narrow face on a 6mm stud for a tight guide channel
- Free-spinning ball-bearing roller protecting a machine edge
For a wider contact face, the 40mm FPO 40x20/10-9K spreads the side load.
