The tyre is super-elastic solid rubber, steel-wire reinforced at the bead, built to flex and absorb shock much like a pneumatic tire while staying completely solid. That means it cushions the load, runs quietly, and helps preserve the floor over rough or uneven ground, yet it can never puncture or lose air. At a 70 Shore A hardness it stays on the softer, more forgiving side for comfort and traction. The 3.00-4 size mounts on a 4-inch rim, and it holds from -22 to 176°F. As a black rubber tyre it may leave marks on light or delicate flooring, so it is best suited to shop floors, yards, and outdoor routes.
