About This Caster - BPA-TPA 50KF
Choose this 50mm Blickle BPA rigid caster when a small light-duty cart rolls often and runs across carpet or fibre that could foul the bearing.
The wheel pairs a grey thermoplastic rubber tread over a polypropylene centre for a quiet, cushioned, non-marking ride on clean floors. Its ball bearing starts and rolls with less effort than a plain bushing, so it suits carts that are moved frequently rather than occasionally. A synthetic thread guard shields the bearing from carpet fibre, hair, and string that would otherwise wind around the axle, which makes it a sensible pick for offices, healthcare floors, and other fibre-prone spaces. The bracket is a Blickle BPA-series pressed-steel fork, zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. The fixed fork tracks straight on a 60 by 60 millimetre top plate at a 71 millimetre mount height, and it holds from -4 to 140°F.
