About This Wheel - ALES 150/20K-SG
Choose this 150mm wheel for a cart carrying the most sensitive load over an uneven floor on a 20mm axle, where ride comfort matters most.
The tyre is Blickle's SoftMotion, a soft rubber at just 55 Shore A, the softest in the line, and that extra softness is the point: it absorbs the shock of seams and rough concrete more than a firmer rubber, giving maximum cushioning for fragile cargo and excellent floor protection while running very quiet. The aluminium centre carries the load at low weight on a 20mm ball-bearing axle. The trade for that comfort is more rolling effort and a lighter rating than a firmer wheel, and the non-marking grey tread holds from -4 to 176°F.
