About This Wheel - ALB 150/20K
Spec this 150mm wheel for a heavy transport cart on a 20mm axle that rolls a smooth floor with a high load and the least push effort.
At 150mm the wheel rolls thresholds and floor seams a smaller wheel jams on and lowers rolling effort on a long run, while the tread is Blickle's Besthane, a firm polyurethane at 92 Shore A on a die-cast aluminium centre, carrying a high load and rolling with very low resistance. The 20mm bore seats a thick, stiff axle, and the aluminium centre carries the weight at low mass. The trade is no cushioning, so it suits a smooth hard floor. The brown tread holds from -4 to 158°F.
Ideal applications
- 150mm heavy carts on a 20mm axle over smooth floors
- Firm 150mm Besthane carrying high load with very low rolling resistance
- Aluminium-centre 150mm wheel on a thick 20mm shaft
For the largest ALB on the same 20mm axle, the 200mm ALB 200/20K clears more.
