About This Axle Bolt - P10016
This is the plain 3/8-inch axle bolt and nut at 2-3/32 inches, the standard non-greased axle that holds the wheel in most light and medium casters and the one that wears out first on a hard-used rig.
There is no zerk on this version, so it is the simple, low-cost replacement for sealed-bearing or bushing wheels that were never meant to be greased. The shorter 2-3/32 length matches narrower hubs than the longer 3/8 axles in the line. When you swap one, replace the nut too: a reused locknut that has lost its grip backs off under vibration, and a missing axle nut drops the wheel mid-load. Snug it so the wheel spins free without side-play.
