Set this low 4-inch 62 Series rigid under a light cart that crosses a finished floor on a budget, the polyurethane-on-polypropylene caster whose grey tread runs quiet and protects the finish.

A polyurethane tread bonded to a polypropylene core gives a quiet, non-marking roll at a lower cost than a metal-core wheel, and the grey poly grips a smooth floor without scuffing. The polypropylene core keeps the wheel light, though it carries less and can flex under a heavy standing load where an aluminum core holds. The low 5-5/8 mount keeps the deck close, the roller bearing rolls it easy, and the plate bolts flat. The tread is good to 180°F.
