About This Caster - 62TM06407S
Choose this 6-inch 62 Series swivel for the front of a heavy cart near oil and heat, the phenolic caster whose hard wide tread steers the load without flattening while the roller bore carries the dead weight.
A soft tread flat-spots under a heavy parked load and softens around oil; the 62 Series phenolic wheel is a hard resin that carries a high load without setting and takes oil and heat to 250°F, and the wide 2-1/2-inch tread spreads the load across more resin. The roller bearing carries the weight at a walk, the 6-inch diameter clears a thick seam, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty.

- Front of heavy carts near oil and heat to 250°F
- Wide tread steering a high standing load
- Solvent areas around a hot process
Skip the phenolic wheel if the floor runs near 800°F or the cart needs a quiet non-marking tread; a cast iron 62 Series wheel rolls through the heat and a polyurethane 62AX06228S rolls non-marking.
