About This Caster - 62PD08201S
Put this 8-inch 62 Series swivel up front on a heavy cart that crosses a finished floor and has to steer at the dock, the polyurethane-on-aluminum caster whose quiet tread marks nothing and whose metal core carries the height without flexing.
Polyurethane on a die-cast aluminum core rolls quiet and leaves no mark, and the metal core holds the tall 8-inch wheel round under load where a plastic hub would deform. On this swivel the roller bearing keeps it turning at a walk, the tread grips a smooth floor without sliding, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 plate bolts to a flat deck on a 10-1/8 mount height. Heat is the limit at 180°F.

- Aluminum core holding round where a plastic hub flexes
Skip the poly tread where heat runs past 180°F; a phenolic 62TM08201R rolls hard and heat-stable to 250°F when the floor gets hot.
