About This Caster - 62PD04201R
Set this low 4-inch 62 Series rigid under a cart that crosses finished concrete and tile, the polyurethane-on-aluminum caster whose quiet tread leaves no marks and whose light metal core holds its shape under load.
The polyurethane tread runs quiet and leaves no marks, gripping a smooth floor without the squeal of a hard wheel, and the die-cast aluminum core stays light and will not rust or take a flat spot under a parked load the way a solid-poly or plastic core can. The roller bearing carries the 4-inch wheel at a walk, the low 5-5/8 mount height keeps the deck close to the floor, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 plate bolts flat. Heat is the limit at 180°F.

Skip the polyurethane wheel where heat tops 180°F; the tread softens past it, so a nylon 62NG05201R holds to 250°F when the line runs hot.
